Our Reports.
We have published 3 reports, without our most recent being May 2022. All of our reports are focused on elevating the voices of young adults with lived experiences on our priority topics. They are solution focused with tangible suggestions to make changes.
Our first topic was race and in 2017, we published our ‘Race and Criminal Justice’ report and worked with the Lammy Review Team at Ministry of Justice to disseminate the work. We spoke to young adults across the country, in the community and in YOIs. Some of our recommendations were featured in the published Lammy Review.
In 2020 we published our ‘Hearing from Young Adults’ report. This youth-led report was co-produced with our Young Advisors. It brought together the findings from their peer research with 500 young adults across the criminal justice and care system.
Our report in 2022, will focus on the voices of three hundred young adults from across the prison estate and in the community. There will be responses focusing on four key areas race, life after prison, mental health and care.
